Our story
It started with a simple gap.
Farmers already make dozens of high-stakes decisions a season. What to plant, when to spray, which animal is sick, what the market will pay. The knowledge exists — but it is scattered across notebooks, radio programmes, extension visits and word of mouth.
We built AkuafoPlus to close that gap. One place where a farmer can look up a price, plan the week, record an animal's treatment, learn a better technique and ask an expert — without leaving the field.
That means designing for the reality of Ghanaian farming: modest data budgets, ordinary Android phones, busy days and information that has to be useful immediately.
